Human and social sciences

Our UFR is part of the H3S Faculty (Humanities, Health, Sport, Societies), which brings together 8 UGA components:
INSPEUFR ARSH, LLASIC, SHS, STAPS, SoCLE (formerly LE), Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy.

This grouping of components was born of the ambition to create a meeting place for diverse university communities who share the following common goals take an interest in the human being, in all its meanings.
This ambition to serve students is driven by several major challenges, starting with promoting interculturality and the internationalization of training coursesparticularly through the affirmation of francophonie as a lever of influence for the university.
It also supports cultural practices and projects led by our 7 UFRs with socio-cultural players, and promotes science and culture in all their diversity to citizens and schoolchildren.

Graduate School

The H3S faculty participates in the Graduates school@UGA, a structured, cross-disciplinary program that prepares French and international students, during the two-year Master's program, for doctoral research or direct professional integration.
