The status of "auditeur libre" is available to anyone wishing to take courses at the university, without having to have a degree.
Auditors, registered in the Human and Social Sciences (SHS) component, are authorized to follow courses without attendance obligation.
Auditors may only attend lectures ( subject to availability) and with the agreement of the teacher in charge of the course.
Registration as an auditor entitles you to certain university library services, such as book loans.
The registration fee, corresponding to the national Bachelor's degree rate, is not subject to CVEC (Contribution Vie Étudiante et de Campus).
Points of attention
Auditors do not have student status.
He/she is not eligible for CROUS scholarships and other student benefits (housing, student social security, etc.);
It does not take exams, nor is it eligible for graded work.
Applications must be made to the school administrator of the desired course.
